POINTS SYSTEM
Two stages, two ways to earn points: per-match predictions in the group stage, then progression points in the knockouts. Your leaderboard total is the sum of both.
GROUP STAGE
Exact score
You predicted England 2–1 USA. Actual: 2–1. → 5 pts
Correct result (winner/draw, wrong score)
You predicted England 3–0 USA. Actual: 2–1. Right winner, wrong score. → 3 pts
Wrong result
You predicted a draw. USA won. → 0 pts
Group-stage matches only. Knockout matches are scored differently — see below.
KNOCKOUT ROUNDS
Once the group stage is over, the same result and score points apply — correct result gets you +3 pts, correct scoreline gets you +5 pts. The difference in the knockouts is that you also earn progression points for every team you backed to reach that round.
Progression points — for every team you predicted to reach a round:
Example — Germany vs Paraguay, Round of 32. Final score: Germany 2–1 Paraguay.
- Predicted Germany to progress ✅ → 3 pts
- Predicted Paraguay to progress ✅ → 3 pts
- Predicted exact score 2–1 ✅ → 5 pts
- Total: 11 pts
Had the score been 3–1 to Germany:
- Predicted Germany to progress ✅ → 3 pts
- Predicted Paraguay to progress ✅ → 3 pts
- Correct result ✅ → 3 pts
- Total: 9 pts
Had Paraguay won:
- Predicted Germany to progress ✅ → 3 pts
- Predicted Paraguay to progress ✅ → 3 pts
- Wrong result ❌ → 0 pts
- Total: 6 pts
TOP GOAL SCORER
Nominate one player as your Golden Boot pick when you submit. If your player finishes the tournament as the top goalscorer, you bank a 15-point bonus.
Your nominated player's goal tally is also used as the second tiebreaker on the leaderboard (see below).
TIEBREAKERS
If two or more players finish level on points, the winner is decided by the following rules, applied in order:
Total points (group + progression + top-scorer bonus)
Goals scored by your nominated top scorer
Most exact score matches
Most correct results

Predictions lock at 20:00 UK time on 11 June 2026. Make sure every match (groups + knockouts) is filled in and your top scorer is picked before then.
